De-Clutter
Bed bugs hide and thrive in clutter for months. We clear newspapers, magazines, and clothing from floors to prevent further spread between rooms.
Pack & Store
Items that can't be laundered are packed into sealed plastic containers — never cardboard — so bed bugs can't survive treatment inside them.
Dismantle & Move
Beds, mattresses, lamps, and furniture are dismantled and moved as needed so the exterminator can reach every hiding spot.
Strip, Remove & Clean
Linens, drapery, and clothing are stripped, bagged, and removed. We then vacuum and clean all infested areas thoroughly.
Launder
All fabric items are transported to our laundry facility, washed and dried at the heat required to kill bed bugs, then folded and stored until your home is cleared.
Restore
Once extermination is complete, we return your laundered items. Want the rest handled too? We can reassemble furniture, rehang drapery, and put your home back together as an added service.

Can I do bed bug prep myself?
You can, but we don't recommend it. Bed bug preparation is meticulous and time-intensive — most homeowners take a week or more, and small mistakes can prolong treatment or worsen the infestation. We typically complete the full prep in a single business day so the exterminator can start sooner.
How long does preparation take?
A typical prep takes one to five days depending on the size of the home and the level of infestation. The extermination treatments themselves often run several weeks to months after prep is complete.
Do you treat shoes, bags, and other non-clothing items?
Yes. High-heat treatment can be hard on delicate items, so we'll ask you to set aside anything that wouldn't fare well and we'll talk through how to handle those pieces.
Do you also handle the extermination?
No. We focus exclusively on preparation. Once your space is ready, we refer you to a trusted local extermination company we work with regularly.
When do I get my belongings back?
After your exterminator confirms the home is bed bug free, we return your laundered items. If you'd like help putting your space back together, restoration is available as an added service.
Why are bed bugs so hard to get rid of?
They reproduce quickly, hide in cracks and crevices that are difficult to treat, and spread easily between rooms and homes. Many people don't react to bites, so infestations often go unnoticed until they're advanced. Proper preparation is the single biggest factor in successful treatment.
